GymWager offers invite-only workout accountability contests. Contest outcomes are determined by verified workout completions inside approved gyms. Apple is not a sponsor of GymWager contests or money features.

Sponsor

Eligibility

• Money features are limited to U.S. users who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority where they use the app.
• You must use GymWager only where the features are lawful for you.
• You need a valid GymWager account and must accept the in-app rules and eligibility certification before using money features.

No chance-based play

GymWager contests are skill-based accountability contests. Outcomes depend on whether participants complete verified in-gym workouts and hit the weekly target for the pact. Chance does not determine the winner.

Pact weeks

Pact weeks run from Monday 12:00 AM to the next Monday 12:00 AM in the pact time zone. Gym approval and stake deadlines are shown in-app for each pact.

Workout Together mode

• Only Active members participate in a given week.
• If a member misses the weekly target, their bond is forfeited into the pot.
• Winners split the pot minus the 12% platform fee.
• If no one wins, the pot rolls over to a future week.
• If a pact has a non-zero stake, at least two Active members are required or the week pauses and bonds carry forward.

Accountability Partner mode

• Only the committer stakes money. The witness never stakes.
• If the committer hits the goal, the committer keeps the bond.
• If the committer misses, the witness receives the full bond and no platform fee is charged.

Payments and payouts

Stripe processes payment collection and payouts. Additional identity or bank information may be required by Stripe or by law before payouts can be completed.

Disputes and account deletion

Questions, disputes, and account deletion requests can be started in the app or by emailing info@gymwager.com. Financial and contest records may be retained where required by law.
