Privacy Policy

GymWager helps users create weekly workout accountability pacts. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account and profile: a user identifier and an optional display name you choose.
• Fitness activity: pact membership, weekly targets, check-ins, and weekly results.
• Location during check-in: precise location used only to verify you are inside an approved gym radius when starting or finishing a workout.
• Payments and payouts: Stripe processes payment details. GymWager receives non-secret identifiers and transaction status needed to support money features.

How we use information

• Provide pact, gym, check-in, scoring, and resolution features.
• Verify workout check-ins against approved gym locations.
• Process payments and payouts through Stripe and reduce fraud or abuse.
• Operate, debug, and improve the service.

How we share information

• Stripe: payment and payout processing, compliance checks, and transaction support.
• Firebase (Google): account authentication and pact sync across devices.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple when you choose that sign-in method.

Data retention

We retain pact and workout data while your account is active to provide the service. GymWager is designed to scrub precise check-in coordinates after weekly resolution so historical results do not retain raw locations. Payment or identity records may be retained by Stripe or GymWager where required for financial, legal, or dispute-handling obligations.

Your choices

• You can deny location permission, but you will not be able to check in to workouts.
• You can start an account deletion request in the app from Settings, or contact support directly.

Children's privacy

GymWager is not intended for children under 13, and money features are not intended for minors.
